Shivagange is a mountain peak with a height of 1,368 metres (4,488ft) and a pilgrimage place located near Bangalore. The scenic beauty of Shivagange is mesmerizing and the rocky terrain is an ideal spot for trekking. The sacred mountain is shaped as a Shivalinga and has 2 special things to experience. You can see Ghee (Clarified Butter) transforming back into Butter, which is chemically not possible, but at this temple we are able to witness it.

There is also a small water hole where you can put your hand in and try to reach the water. It is said, if you are able to touch the water, good fortune will be with you.

This is going to be our first destination and will be a day trip from Bangalore. We will hike up the hill, enjoy the beautiful view, local snacks and wonderful stories about this magical place.
